Use a steel immersion tank and circulation system for holding the Axxanol™ A35-30 solution. It is recommended that the immersion tank floor be tapered to allow for the collection and easy drainage of the accumulated water from the tank. In addition, the tank should contain a sight glass on the wall for easy assessment of the water level in the tank and a drain valve at the bottom for water drainage purposes. Plastic and poly-lined tanks should be avoided.

Use Axxanol™ A35-30 non-staining rust preventative to protect metal components, machined and cast parts, engines, molds, and more for up to 1 year‡ during shipment, storage, and work-in-progress. After application and allowing metals to completely dry, place them into ZERUST® Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) film packaging products for a more robust solution that protects for years‡ during indoor storage or challenging shipping conditions, such as ocean freight.
The non-staining rust preventative coating is compatible with most engine oil lubricants, based on internal testing. However, if the coating needs to be removed from the metal surface, use a compatible ZERUST® AxxaWash™ product, commercial alkaline, or solvent cleaner. Axxanol™ A35-30 does not intentionally contain barium or heavy metals and complies with Global Automotive Declarable Substance, TSCA, RoHS, and REACH SVHC requirements.
