Product Description

Product Description

Made with an elastic band, ZERUST® ICT® Coil Covers fit over the top and bottom of metal coils with ZERUST® VCI machine stretch film wrapping and enclosing the entire coil to ensure comprehensive protection. These covers efficiently diffuse invisible, odorless, and non-toxic ZERUST® Vapor Corrosion Inhibitors (VCI). As a result, these VCI molecules settle onto exposed metal coil surfaces inside the packaging, preventing rust and corrosion while also serving as a physical barrier against environmental pollutants such as dirt, dust, and smoke. Upon removal from the packaging, the VCI will dissipate from the metal coil surfaces, immediately allowing further processing.

The transparent nature of the film allows for easy visibility of the coils, facilitating quick identification and inspection. Engineered for a broad range of applications, these custom-sized Coil Covers are typically made with ICT®510-CLHD High-Density VCI Film but can be produced from almost any ZERUST® film product. In addition, they are available in ferrous, non-ferrous, and multimetal formulations to meet specific application requirements. Reusable when maintained in good condition, Coil Covers offer a durable, effective solution for maintaining the integrity of metal coils. Whether in storage or transit, ZERUST® ICT® VCI Coil Covers deliver unparalleled performance.
